Kádár, Géza (1876-1952)
He belonged to Simon Hollósy's circle in Munich.
He first went to Nagybánya in 1908 and moved into the town in 1923.
In 1916 he married Erzsébet Hevesi, a piano teacher, student of Béla Bartók.
In the summers he was engaged in painting murals for the churches in the region , therefore, winter landscapes are more frequent in his oeuvre.
The influence of Neo style is discernible in his paintings.
His mode of expression has qualities in common with János Krizsán's.
