Painter and graphic artist. He was a pupil of Vaszary in Budapest, then learnt painting in Munich and Paris. After a number of exhibitions in the Ernst Museum in Budapest, he had another one in Berlin in 1931. His art was related to art nouveau. He painted a lot of portraits and designed stage decorations, illustrations and decorative panneaux. At the end of his life he painted a series of illustrations to a history of the world and that of Hungary. He was a founder of the Bicske art school and a member of the Benczur Society. His works are in the collection of the Hungarian National Gallery and several museums abroad.
